Drawing upon his background in swimming and his love for the water, he set out to craft a company that seamlessly blends the knowledge from larger swim programs with smaller class more intimate sizes.
Carl’s commitment to community is at the core of Roosevelt Island Aquatics LLC’s mission. From being a former co-chair of the community’s resident association planning committee, he ensures that every aspect of the business aligns with his values of community responsibility.

Meet Tasha Crump, a swim instructor committed to help others learn to swim as a safety skill and/or athletic ability.
Tasha’s passion for aquatic capabilities came from her own experience in water when her inability almost changed her life for the worse. She followed up with basic life preservation training, then competitive training. Not only is Tasha a certified swim instructor, but she is also certified to teach courses for CPR. AED, First Aid, and Lifeguarding.
Tasha encourages swimming for everyone on any level, and ensures the aquatic environment to be a comfort zone for all who participant.
